Types of Gate Valves
Rising Stem Gate Valve
In this type, the stem moves upward during operation, which helps in identifying the open or closed position of the valve.
Non-Rising Stem Gate Valve
In a Non-Rising Stem Gate Valve, the stem does not move upward. Only the internal gate moves during opening and closing. These valves are generally used where space is limited.
